NJ Human Services Summer Symposium:
The NJ Department of Human Services is hosting a summer symposium entitled, “An Opportunity to Make a Difference: Ways to Enrich the Lives of our Students”. Novadebt will serve as an exhibitor at the symposium providing information about our financial literacy programs for students. We will highlight the work we do at Manna House for teen mothers in addition to providing information about Novadebt’s services. Manna House - Cliffwood Beach, NJ:
This site provides housing and life skills education for single, teenage parents. Novadebt provides financial education workshops for the residents in the areas of money management, establishing credit, credit reports & scoring and budgeting. Free education material is provided. Star Program - Long Branch, NJ:
This site provides sessions and resources for unemployed individuals who are seeking to re-enter the workforce. Novadebt provides a workshop titled “Managing Your Finances While Unemployed”. The workshop focuses in areas of money management, credit reports, credit scoring, different social service options and communicating with your lenders. Free education material and information is provided. If you would like to participate, please contact the VNA in Tinton Falls at 732-695-4679.

Credit Restoration Workshop – Middlesex College:
A series of three workshops will be provided to adult students and community members on topics including money management, credit restoration and savings & investment. Novadebt will be providing the workshop on credit restoration. If you would like to participate, please contact 732-745-8866.

Money Management—Princeton House:
Princeton House is a rehabilitation center located in Princeton, NJ. An aspect of their rehabilitation program is the Adjunctive Therapy Department. Novadebt provides a “life skills” workshop in the area of money management. The workshop leader responds to the needs of the group and will answer questions and provide information in areas of personal finance that apply. ‘Women In Need’ Meeting:
Participants of the ‘Women In Need’ program serve as a resource group for victims of domestic violence. Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services serves as the key collaborator for the group. The meeting is held to discuss current topics of interest with regard to important services/messages we can relay to victims of domestic violence. Workforce - New Brunswick, NJ:

Novadebt Blood Drive:
Novadebt will be sponsoring a Blood Drive at their Freehold location in coordination with the Central Jersey Blood Bank. The blood drive will be held from 2:00pm until 7:00pm. Community members are invited to donate blood to assist with the blood shortage in Central New Jersey.
